Hakushu Distillery: a guided tour
Whiskies amateurs and neophytes alike will be enchanted by the picturesque location of the distillery. The tour/tasting need to be booked in advance here.
About 2 hours away from Tokyo, it it worth to spend a night there, to enjoy the other attractions of the areas (trekking, onsen…)..
Finally arrived! A long way, but well worth it!
Fuji-san will greet you at the station…
To reach the distillery, you can catch the free shuttle (timetable here), or a taxi, which will set you back around 2000Yen.
Get your pass at the ticket booth and enter the distillery domain.
Before the tour starts, go through the small museum (Click on the pictures…).
The tour last about 1 hour.
..and ends with tasting…
You are now free to visit the bar and experience some fabulous whiskies at incredible prices!
