Even if you are jaded by a long day exploring the city, you should keep some strength for the nights, as Tokyo has a lot to offer: izakayas and bars stay open late, and of course night-clubs will welcome you (as long as you can show your I.D)...
Totally subjective, the list below is what I experienced and think that a clubber/night owl ought to visit. There are just too many places to list, so I intentionally left out the larger, duller ones....so do complement this list with other opinions:
Night clubs's entrance can be quite expensive (2,500 - 4,000Yen with one drink included....) although once inside, the drinks are cheap. But if you don't feel like staying in one place all night, you could visit few (no entrance fee..) bars in Shibuya's Dogenzaka, Oayama/Ebisu, or even Roppongi, though the last one does not feel like Japan anymore, due to the high number of foreigners....
